About Me

I'm Steve Shacklock

...and professional Web Designer & Developer previously based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne but recently relocated to Wareham, Dorset.

I began working in the web industry in 2002 as the Designer and Web Manager for Swiss-based organisation EuroCHRIE and since then have never looked back! I left my previous career to study full time as a mature student, gaining a degree in Web Design & Development from Northumbria University.

I have worked for successful, professional companies within the industry and as a freelance, with national and international clients, everything from large companies (such as Nestle), growing local businesses like Ferriera Johnson in Bournemouth, charities such as Childrens Fund International and ongoing web management work for organisations such as EuroCHRIE and the CJ Riders Fund.

My Ethos

My ethos is, as with most web designers, to create beautifully designed aesthetically pleasing sites, which are developed to have modern and user friendly functionality. I also have a strong business focused approach, which ensures each of my websites is not JUST an awesome piece of art or a 'techie' paradise, they ALL make BUSINESS SENSE.

Each of my websites is tailored to the individual client. It is designed to encapsulate the image and values of your company and with modern, professional functions which are easy to use and suit the needs of your company and clients. It will positively represent and enhance the reputation of your company and will act as a valuable marketing tool, reaching out to new clients through web optimisation and utilisation of social media AS STANDARD, not extra.

All of my clients receive the highest possible standard of customer care through one-on-one consultations at each stage of the process, value for money, guaranteed aftercare should it be required and most importantly an HONEST and PROFESSIONAL approach.
